Chapter 15: Molecular Theory Of Gases

In this chapter, students should be able to understand the concept of temperature and explain the triple point of water. State general gas law derives from gas laws (Boyle’s law, Charle’s law, and Avogadro’s law). State the basic postulate of the kinetic theory of gases. Describe the molecular movement that causes the pressure exerted by gas and derive the pressure.
